There Is Power
Our souls contained the Universe
we are beings of love and light.
It is our choice to live in misfortune
or embrace or potential in life
Sadness, anger or feeling unloved
all are shadows within our cells.
Struggles make us feel heavy
we tend to forget our true selves.
Knowledge of a higher purpose
is always there for us to seek.
There is power in every thought
and in every word we speak.
Flowers are blooming in my head
where all the weeds used to grow.
My intentions today are simple
where there is love, I shall follow.
